Growers come to the CFMA markets from across California.  While El Dorado County produces fabulous mountain grown fruit and vegetables, not everything that the consumer wishes is available here.  That is why growers from the great central valley of California are regular participants in the markets to bring corn and melons and differing varieties of fruits and vegetables into the markets early in the growing season and through the close of the market season.
