The Placerville, Cameron Park, Folsom, South Lake Tahoe, and El Dorado Hills Certified Farmers' Market Association, Inc. (CFMA) is an association of over 75 growers and producers who participate in the California Certified Farmers' Markets. We hope you enjoy your visit and become regular visitors to our markets.

Produce sold at Certified Farmers' Markets is freshly picked and nutritionally fabulous.  Unlike store produce which is picked many days in advance and hundred of miles away, most produce at Certified Farmers' Markets is picked within hours of market days. And the visitor can talk directly to the farmer and learn about new varieties of fruits and vegetables, farming practices and special preparation suggestions.

A Certified Farmers' Markets is not just a place of shopping but is a community event.  Friends meet friends, swap recipes and visit with the farmers who have become their friends. 

Each of the Placerville, Cameron Park, Folsom, South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado Hills Certified Farmers' Markets accept Senior Nutrition Coupons and WIC.

We are a public benefit corporation created to:

• Organize and develop Certified Farmers' Markets where real farmers sell their fruits and vegetables directly to the consumer.
• Help sustain viable small family farms.
• Encourage low and fixed income consumers to save and stretch food budgets buying fresh top quality produce.
• Aid low income, small scale farming
• Provide information to consumers about the nutritional benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables.
